Most Romantic Resorts – Week 2

My 5 part blog series on the 10 most romantic resorts is underway. If you missed last week’s post, I covered the first 2 resorts that make my top 10 list. This week we travel to Negril, Jamaica and Taormina, in Sicily – Italy.

The climate is perfect, amazing views, and the monuments make Taormina a location admired by all who visit. Views of the ancient Amphitheater against a backdrop of Mount Etna and the sea beyond. In the 1800’s, its beauty was mentioned it the book Italian Journey. Thus, Taormina became a mandatory stop by  the European aristocracy to enrich their own culture. My pick for your romantic vacation in Italy is the Belmond Grand Hotel Timeo.

Jamaica has some beautiful resorts, and the one to top my list for the most romantic resorts is located in Negril. The home of relaxation, and famous for beautiful sunsets. The 7-mile stretch of bright white sandy beach, and picturesque cliffs overlooking the emerald green sea. This is the place for you to come and soothe your soul. You will enjoy the slow pace of life, with the freshest seafood caught daily, and the most amazing beach sunsets you will ever see. Very little compares to a long lazy day soaking up the sun on the beaches of Negril.
