Couples Swept Away

We just returned from a visit to Jamaica to take part in a special wedding at Couples Sans Souci. While in Jamaica we visited all of the Couples resorts and our first two nights were at Couples Swept Away. A very tropical and rustic resort perfect for romantics, those looking to escape the daily grind, and sports enthusiasts.

The entertainment is wonderful! We loved the piano bar. The food at every meal was excellent and they are able to accommodate those with dietary restrictions. The staff are so welcoming and make you feel at home from the moment that you check in.

The rainy season in the Caribbean runs from the middle of April through the end of November. In some areas, the season might start as late as June, while in others, it might run longer into December. Rainy season in central and southern Mexico lasts roughly from May or June through October or November. Some months will have more rainfall than others; your travel advisor will make recommendations and offer you options so your dream trip isn’t a complete washout. Time of day

For those planning a destination wedding, the time of day you choose for your ceremony & reception are very important. Avoid the hottest time of the day so you and your guests are not sweltering under the Caribbean or Mexico sun. The hottest time of the day is around 3 p.m. Heat continues building up after noon, when the sun is highest in the sky.
